The Northern Theatre Laboratory presents Series VII: Embodying a Character - a six-week series of workshops in techniques and methodology of building and embodying a character.

Each participant will develop transferable skills in developing a character from meeting the text to challenging your body with neutral body, elements, animal studies, personal associations, deriving from these characteristics and physical action to create and embody the world of the character.

In collaboration with the Vonnegut Collective you will work to discover new potentials of the relationship between music and character through working with live music. This will enable the participants to find the character’s musicality and inner rhythm. 

THIS SERIES IS OPEN TO ALL ARTISTS, WHETHER THEY BE FROM A PHYSICAL OR NON-PHYSICAL BACKGROUND.

Full Price: £110

Individual Sessions: £20 (Only the first four sessions are open for this option)

Location: The Royal Exchange, Manchester.

Times: 6.30pm - 9pm (unless stated)
