The Northern Theatre Laboratory presents Series VII: Embodying a Character - a six-week series of workshops in techniques and methodology of building and embodying a character.

Each participant will develop transferable skills in developing a character from meeting the text to challenging your body with animal studies, personal associations, characteristics and the method of physical action to create the physicality, characteristics and world of the character.

In collaboration with the Vonnegut Collective you will work as an ensemble to discover new potentials of the relationship between music and character through working with live musicians. This will enable the participants to find the musicality and inner rhythm of their performance. 

THIS SERIES IS OPEN TO ALL ARTISTS, WHETHER THEY BE FROM A PHYSICAL OR NON-PHYSICAL BACKGROUND.
