ADAM is a working class actor/writer/director born and raised on a council estate in the former mining town of Pontefract, West Yorkshire. His passion for theatre and story-telling stemmed from his first interactions with drama that is character driven and rooted in the complexity of human to human relationships.

He originally trained in Manchester as an actor before going on to write and produce his own plays, comedy sketches and short films before attending one of the UK’s leading MA programmes, Theatre Lab at RADA. His performance & training work on stage, street and screen has allowed him to work and train with the very best that the world has to offer including street theatre companies AVANTI DISPLAY and ARTIZANI THEATRE, Liverpool based physical theatre company TMESIS THEATRE, and tutors such as MATEJ MATEJKA and MARGARET PIKES.

ADAM’s movement direction and choreography has seen him work both in theatre and film on productions such as Frankenstein at THE DUKES THEATRE in Lancaster and with REDBOBBLE ARTS on If I Should Fall. He also works across a range of UK wide drama schools and universities leading workshops and projects for actors, singers and dancers at institutions such as the LIPA, EAST 15, RNCM and LEEDS CONSERVATOIRE.
