Charles is a Liverpool based theatre maker, movement director & actor. He originally trained as a visual artist at Kingston University and exhibited across the UK before he undertook his Masters in Acting at RADA’s MA Theatre Lab.

Since graduating in 2015 Charles has worked prolifically within the UK's devised theatre scene making work which fuses his artistic visions with his interest in physicality and embodied practices. He joined Animikii Theatre in 2016 to premier ‘ORIGINS’ and has now developed and premiered their second piece 'THE KASPAR HAUSER EXPERIMENT'. He created two plays with Theatre RE; ‘‘BLUEBELLE’ & ‘BIRTH’ which won Best Theatre by Theatre Weekly at Edinburgh Fringe 2019. More recently Charles was movement director on Broken Crow’s new piece ‘OUR TETHERED KIN’ and premiered Emilie Hetland's new play ‘REVOLUTIONARY’.

Other companies include Tmesis Theatre, Eden’s Cave and Mechanimal. On screen, Charles appears in ‘THE DAY YOU LONG FOR’ a short film by Benoit Ganesan in which Charles won Best Actor at Festigious Festival L.A.  ‘STRONGER THAN DEATH’ by Clive Robert Watson, ‘TERROR’ by Giles Buchanan and ‘FORESTS’ by Eden’s Cave Company. Charles also facilitates & teaches acting and physical performance and is represented by Carey Dodd’s Associates.
