Adam’s work is nuanced and person-centric; he takes time to get to know the individual and help them to reveal their story in a caring and supportive environment. He is a dynamic teacher and takes students on a journey which challenges them to tap into/unlock their own creative practice and explore and experiment with form, content and approach.

Our philosophy

We offer a menu of bespoke practices that derives from laboratory theatre practice. As a progressive and modern theatre company it is our purpose to continually evolve theatre training and explore what laboratory theatre training means in the modern creative industries. All of our teaching offers an environment to express and explore the balance between an actor’s individual craft in performance and the vital exploration of the ensemble.

Animikii provided my students with rigorous, high-quality training, developing their physical skills, their performance dynamic and their respect for the art. I was always very impressed with how far the students travelled over the course of the term. Adam challenges the students not just physically but intellectually to explore their role as a creator in the work
